Kick-Off meeting of the PEPR eNSEMBLE (17/11/2023)

Following the inauguration of the eNSEMBLE PEPR on the 5th October 2023, a first day of scientific discussions will be held on Friday 17th November 2023 in Paris, at Sorbonne University - Jussieu campus (map of the campus).

This day falls within the PEPR programme, which seeks to build and run a community focused on digital collaboration. It is aimed primarily at the member teams of the 5 Targeted Projects (PCs), but also at external teams or collaborations. The latter can participate in the activities of the different PCs by joining forces with member teams (e.g. by co-supervising PhDs or internships/post-docs). In addition, a Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) will be launched shortly and will be open to all. This will be discussed during the various plenary and thematic sessions throughout the day.

A video webcast of the various sessions will be available for those unable to travel to Paris (the link will be sent privately to registrants).

Targeted Projects sessions (*PC1 to PC4)

The coordinators of each PC define the programme for their sessions (check your e-mails for updates):

CATS - Collaboration Spaces (PC1):

PILOT - Practices and infrastructure for long term collaboration (PC2):

MATCHING - Collaboration with Intelligent Systems (PC3):

CONGRATS - Collectives for Knowledge Production Management That Scales (PC4):

Themed sessions

Members of different PCs are freely distributed among the different thematic working groups (the aim is to have each PC represented in each thematic area).

Programme and participation details sent to pre-registered participants by e-mail....

Terms of participation

For practical reasons - mainly related to the limited capacity of the meeting rooms and the fact that all PCs meet on the same day - we could be forced to limit in-person attendance for parallel sessions (about 20-25 people per room). We would suggest that funded PhD students, their supervisors and those involved in drafting the document should be given priority. However, we will try to include as many participants as possible.

In all cases, remember that a video webcast of the meetings will be available to all project participants.

Travel expenses

Each participant in the kick-off must cover the costs of their trip to Paris.
